| HP and Ubiquity are partnering to deliver turnkey converged conferencing/collaboration solutions that combine Ubiquity’s SIP Application Server, Speak IP Conferencing Application, and HP’s best of breed Media Server hardware/software, Computing hardware, and integration services.
The solution includes:
- Network assets that enables convergence of the Internet with voice communications with a combination of fixed (via a PSTN GW), mobile and broadband network elements in the NSP network – Thanks to HP Media Server, service providers can provide TDM or IP connectivity (OCMP supports ss7 and IP)
- The audio conferencing service enabler embodied in the Ubiquity Speak Conferencing Manager, a SIP-servlet running on top of the Ubiquity SIP Application Server and providing means to coordinate the conferences
- A Web Application Server that exposes to end users access to the Speak service via HTTP using a standard based web browser. An intuitive web based user interface is available for organizing and scheduling conferences
- OpenClovis Application Service Platform (ASP), a middleware that offers a comprehensive set of modular, portable, and reusable software components. It is designed for system management and high availability in terms of functionality for their next-generation communication products.
