The following are specific examples where the CME Solution Center can help:
- In a specific HP CME solution, like IMS/SDP, IPTV, OSS/ISM, End User Services stacks, you would like to:
-
test specific functionalities
-
test specific scenarios
-
perform interoperability testing with your own component(s)
-
test performance
- You're a network provider who wants to validate a new service for your customers
- You need a performance benchmark at hardware or software level
- Your company wants to evaluate its existing network architecture but you're have difficulties doing it without impacting your day-to-day business
- In order to go with a chosen solution, you need a proof of concept, a sizing exercise, or a scalability test
- As part of a migration plan, you need to perform a porting test such as migration to Linux
The CME Solution Center is aimed at serving customers with particular business needs such as these. However, we also work with those who are grappling with the broader challenges posed by today's business environment. Services offering include:
- Applications and solutions finalization
- Benchmarking
- Solution architecture validation
- Systems and architecture optimization
Following a PoC, the solution could stay and be hosted in the CME Solution Center to be used by customers – pilot mode. For a limited period of time the Solution Center will manage and operate the platform. The solution will be fully monitored (hardware and applications) and backed-up.
The CME Solution Center is able to host a number of customers in parallel. Each customer will benefit from dedicated and secure proof of concept rooms, ensuring data confidentiality.
Methodology :
During the life of the Proof of Concept, a customer project document (CPD) will serve as a central point of communication between the customer and the CME Solution Center. Before the PoC, it will contain all information related to the tasks to accomplish during the PoC. During the PoC, it will be enriched with all results of tests being done. At the end of their stay, the customers will evaluate their visit with the Center staff, and the CDP will be finalized in order to validate the achieved results.
In addition, workshops and hoc trainings are typically organized in the center.
